Proper installation of your new furnace is essential for maximum efficiency. Hiring our factory-trained and certified technicians to install your furnace will ensure that your furnace will:

 ·  Operate at its most efficient level

 ·  Save you money on energy bills

 ·  Extend the life of your equipment

 ·  Ducts will be working properly

A big part of proper installation is ductwork. The ducts in your home are an essential aspect of your heating and cooling system as distribute airflow in your home. The air is pulled from your home into the heater or air conditioner, where it is heated or cooled and pushed back through ducts into your living space.

Ductwork and insulation can be hidden in an attic or crawlspace making it easy to overlook. Problems with leaky or improperly installed ducts can seriously affect your home's comfort level.

In a typical house, about 20 to 30 percent of the air that moves through the duct system is lost because of leaks, holes, and poorly connected ducts. Also, something called heat conduction can cause loss of heated or cooled air.

Heat conduction means that the heat or the cool air created by the furnace or air conditioner passes through the metal walls of the duct. When this happens, the duct itself and the spaces directly surrounding it are heated or cooled. As a result, some conditioned air does not make it to the living spaces, where it is needed.

At Adam’s Air, we are experts at assessing and repairing ducts to provide the maximum efficiency from your system, and right now we are offering furnaces in Hamilton for just $1,900, including installation. We will work our hardest to make sure you always get great rebates.

Furnace tune-ups are essential maintenance procedures designed to ensure that heating systems operate efficiently and safely. During a tune-up, a qualified technician typically performs a thorough inspection of the furnace, checking for any signs of wear or potential issues. This includes cleaning and adjusting burners, inspecting the heat exchanger for cracks or corrosion, and ensuring that all safety controls are functioning correctly. Regular tune-ups not only enhance the efficiency of the furnace, leading to lower energy bills, but also extend the lifespan of the unit and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs down the line. Additionally, a well-maintained furnace contributes to improved indoor air quality, making it a crucial investment for any homeowner.

Properly programming your AC and furnace settings can drastically improve your home's energy efficiency and comfort levels. Start by setting a consistent schedule to match your daily routine. For instance, during the summer, set your AC to a higher temperature when you are away from home and lower it when you are typically there. Conversely, in the winter, lower the furnace settings when the house is empty and raise them when you are back. Utilizing programmable thermostats or smart home devices can automate this process, making it more convenient and reducing the chance of human error. Additionally, it's essential to perform regular maintenance, such as changing filters and checking for leaks, to ensure your HVAC system operates at peak performance.
